Jiangsu Yueda Yancheng Tractor Factory was founded in 1959, and it is the key, large-scale enterprise and state-owned holding limited company of the Machinery Ministry of the People's Republic of China of oriented production of small -sized tractors. There are more than 1500 worker and staffs among which there are 260 various specialized member (180 engineering and technical staff). It has 8 branch factories and 20 administrative and management sections related with production and technology.

The sales company is in charge of the domestic business of the products sales, while international trade department is in charge of the international business of our products.

The factory occupies an area of 129,000 square meters. The total value of assets was 208,758,000 RMB YUAN and former fixed assets was 65,000,000 RMB YUAN at the end of 1996. It has 860 devices of various types, and there are 18 production line in the factory. The factory possesses the ability of producing 60000 DF-12 walking tractors and 20000 Jinma Series wheeled tractors per year.

The main product Huanghai Brand DF-12 walking tractor was successively rated as Silver Prize of the State in 1985,1988; also passed reliability examination organized by the Machinery Ministry of the State in 1992; and obtained certificate of soundness of reliability examination issued by the Machinery Ministry of the State in June, 1993; even more it has been regarded as Reliable Product of use by Customer Committee of China Quality Management Association and Customer Committee of China Agricultural Machinery Circulation Association since 1992.

The main products Huanghai Brand Jinma wheeled tractors were not only rated as Reliable Products of Use by Customer Committee of China Quality Management Association and Customer Committee of China Agricultural Machinery Circulation Association, but also were given the title of Products Exempt from Examination of Quality Supervision by Jiangsu Technological Supervision Bureau in 1997.

All Jinma wheeled tractors passed OECD proof; JM-16 ,JM-180 tractor were respectively awarded "Excellent Products Prizes" of the Machinery Ministry of the State in 1989 and 1992. In 1996 our factory passed ISO 10012-1:94 Measuring and Examination System proof by China Technological Supervision Bureau.

Our factory have produced 55,040 tractors of the above two types in 1996. The total sales of 1996 reached 295,565,000 RMB YUAN; and we achieved the profit of 14,000,000 RMB YUAN in 1996.
